The helical gear is a cylindrical gear with helical teeth. Compared with spur gears, helical gears have advantages such as smooth transmission, good meshing, high overlap, high gear strength, quietness, and low vibration. And can transmit high power, Helical gears are different from spur gears because their tooth lines are helical and generate axial thrust.
Thrust can be eliminated through a quasi force bearing or a combination of left and right helical gears with a herringbone gear. A pair of standing helical gears must have the same helix angle and the opposite spiral direction. Gear transmission has the advantages of reliable operation, constant transmission ratio, high efficiency, the ability to transmit motion between any two shafts in space, and wide adaptability.
